Justice Khanna to Take Oath as India’s 51st Chief Justice

Justice Sanjiv Khanna will take the oath as the 51st Chief Justice of India today, following the retirement of Justice DY Chandrachud. Khanna, appointed to the Supreme Court in January 2019, has worked on high-profile cases, including those involving Arvind Kejriwal. He will serve as Chief Justice until May 13, 2025.
