The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) reported a drop in complaints about spam calls since August 2024, thanks to stricter rules. Complaints decreased by 20% from August to October. TRAI's actions included disconnecting and blacklisting offenders. They also upgraded technology to make messages traceable, with the deadline for completion set for November 30.
