Recent Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections were pretty wild. The BJP snatched up eight out of eleven seats with margins over 20,000 votes. The National Conference led overall with 42 seats, while the BJP got 29. Both major parties did well, along with some independents and smaller parties joining the mix.
