Delhi is currently the most polluted city in India, with an air quality index (AQI) of 379, which falls into the "very poor" category. Jaipur and Chandigarh follow with AQI values of 235 and 233, respectively. Cities like Aizawl and Guwahati have the lowest pollution levels, with AQI values of 32 and 42. Most cities across the country face "poor" or "moderate" air quality, which raises health concerns for residents.
