Star India Faces Massive ₹12,718 Crore Loss in FY24

Star India reported a consolidated net loss of ₹12,718 crore in FY24, down from a profit of ₹1,272 crore in FY23. Total income dropped by 8.9%, and expenses surged to ₹31,563 crore. Losses from subsidiaries grew, while sports arm Mashal Sports saw a big jump in profits. A new joint venture between Reliance, Disney, and Viacom 18 plans to combine TV and digital platforms.
