Why Is ‘Emergency’ Still Without Certification? Kangana Ranaut Speaks Out

Kangana Ranaut is calling out the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) for dragging their feet on certifying her new film "Emergency," which is supposed to drop on September 6, 2024. She’s saying the hold-up is because of outside pressure and is ready to go to court to make sure her film hits theaters. The movie’s facing calls for a ban from groups like the Telangana Sikh Society and the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) over claims that it negatively portrays Sikhs.
