A new report called “Free to Think 2024” reveals that India’s academic freedom has taken a nosedive over the past ten years. Now, the country is ranked as “completely restricted,” thanks to political control and limits on student protests, marking its worst score since the 1940s. However, the real question is how much we can trust these reports.
