Passengers in karnal were lured in by a restaurant’s tempting “unlimited meals” deal for just Rs 150, only to find themselves getting shortchanged. When they asked for more lentils and veggies, all they got was gravy.

This obviously didn’t sit well with the hungry travelers. They started arguing with the restaurant owner, and it got pretty heated. The bus driver and conductor, witnessing the whole thing, jumped in to defend their passengers. Before long, a large crowd had gathered, turning the bus stop into a scene of chaos.

Things escalated to the point where the police had to step in. The bus crew explained to the officers that this kind of trickery was all too common at the stand, with eateries often overcharging and deceiving travelers. Despite the police’s best efforts to calm everyone down, the tension lingered.

Eventually, both the restaurant owner and the upset passenger were taken to the police station for mediation. After some back-and-forth, they managed to settle things and were released. It’s a shame that these kinds of scams seem to keep happening, with locals saying these deceptive offers are just a way to take advantage of unsuspecting customers.
