Looma News

Things got pretty heated in the Kerala Assembly when the Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) decided to shake things up with an adjournment motion. They were all fired up about a senior police officer, Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) MR Ajith Kumar, who reportedly had a chat with some big wigs from the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).

Opposition members weren’t holding back and even walked out of the Assembly when they felt like the ruling Left Democratic Front (LDF) was ignoring their questions. VD Satheesan, the Leader of the Opposition, didn’t mince words. He suggested that the ADGP meeting with RSS leaders hinted at Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s ties with the BJP, raising some serious political eyebrows.

To make things even more dramatic, Satheesan pointed out that the Chief Minister wasn’t even there to defend himself because doctors told him to rest his voice. Talk about adding fuel to the fire.

The LDF wasn’t just going to take those accusations lying down. Parliamentary Affairs Minister MB Rajesh fired back, saying that any action needed against the ADGP was already being handled. He argued that the ADGP meets with leaders from all parties and dismissed the UDF’s claims as mere political games, suggesting the UDF was just projecting their own tactics onto the LDF.

This meeting has definitely stirred up some controversy, with both sides digging in. The whole issue of police and politics in Kerala is heating up, and it’ll be interesting to see how this all plays out in the coming days.
