Bollywood actor Salman Khan has received another threat from a person claiming to be linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The threatening message, sent to the Mumbai Police’s WhatsApp number on Thursday night, demanded a ransom of Rs 5 crore. It warned that Salman Khan would be harmed unless the money was paid. The message also included a death threat to the lyricist of Khan’s upcoming song, ‘Main Sikandar Hoon’, saying they would be killed within a month.

Once the threat was received, the Mumbai Police began investigating and traced the mobile number used in the message to Karnataka. The number was registered under the name Vikram Dasar. A police team was sent to Karnataka for further investigation. This new threat is part of a series of similar messages aimed at Salman Khan, allegedly connected to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, which has previously targeted him over the 1998 blackbuck poaching case.

Earlier, Salman Khan received another threat demanding either an apology for the poaching incident or Rs 5 crore. Last week, the police arrested Vikram Bishnoi from Bengaluru. He initially denied any link to the Bishnoi gang but admitted to send the threat after seeing news reports about similar threats. He was taken to a Mumbai court and placed in judicial custody while the investigation continues.
