Honda has launched the third-generation Honda Amaze in India, with prices starting at Rs. 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Amaze features notable upgrades to both its exterior and interior, while the engine remains the same. It is powered by a 1.2L four-cylinder VTEC petrol engine that makes 90 PS and 110 Nm, paired with either a 5-speed manual transmission or an optional CVT.
The updated Amaze now comes with a larger touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Other features include a seven-inch semi-digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, six airbags, front twin cup holders, and a reversing camera. The interior has been refreshed with a new dashboard design, offering a more modern and stylish feel.
On the outside, the Amaze has received a makeover, drawing inspiration from Honda’s Elevate and City models. It now has a more upright front, sharp LED headlights with LED DRLs, a chrome-accented grille, and new fog lamp housings, all of which give it a stronger road presence. The car’s dimensions include a length of 3,995 mm, width of 1,733 mm, and height of 1,500 mm, along with a 416-litre boot space.
The 2025 Amaze is also the first compact sedan in India to feature Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) technology. It is available in six variants: V, VX, and ZX, with prices ranging from Rs. 7.99 lakh to Rs. 10.89 lakh (ex-showroom). Deliveries are expected to begin next month, and the car is ready to take on competitors like the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Tata Tigor, and Hyundai Aura in the Indian market.
