A fire broke out on a moving train near Rohtak, Haryana, on Monday evening after firecrackers carried by a passenger exploded. The train was on its way from Jind to Delhi, passing through Sampla and Bahadurgarh. Officials said a few passengers suffered minor injuries during the event.

The Government Railway Police (GRP) reported that the fire started in one part of the train and quickly filled the area with smoke. Initial investigations suggest that a short circuit in an electrical appliance may have triggered the firecracker explosion.
