A huge crowd of Army hopefuls camped in Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand, for the Territorial Army recruitment. Thousands struggled with accommodation and transport issues, with some paying high fares. The administration denied the complaints, saying they had made enough arrangements, including food, transport, and places to stay in local schools. Even with these challenges, over 18,000 candidates showed up for just 133 available positions, which led to police stepping in due to the overcrowding.
