Looma News

In Bengaluru, a man ended up in hot water after he threatened a woman with an acid attack just because of her clothes. It all started when the woman’s husband, Shahbaz Ansar, took to social media to shine a light on this messed-up behavior, tagging local authorities to make sure his wife’s safety was a priority.

Shahbaz’s tweet was a wake-up call, and it did the trick. He posted a screenshot of the threatening message, saying, “This guy is threatening to throw acid on my wife’s face for her choice of clothes. Please take action against him to stop this from happening.” His urgent shout-out caught the attention of tons of people, including the Bengaluru police and some state leaders.

Immediate Response

The guy who made the threats, Nikith Shetty, worked at Etios Services and didn’t take long to face the music. After all the backlash and the case opened against him, the company acted fast and fired him. They expressed their disappointment over the situation and reinforced their commitment to a safe work environment, saying, “This behavior is unacceptable and goes against our core values at Etios Services.”

Community Support

Shahbaz was super thankful for the quick response and support from everyone, tweeting, “The man who threatened my wife Khyati Shree with an acid attack lost his job. The company acted fast and fired him. Big thanks to everyone who helped make this happen.” It’s awesome to see the community rallying together against such awful behavior.

As for Shetty, he’s now facing charges under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), including some serious stuff related to acid attacks. This whole incident is a big reminder that we need to change how we treat each other, especially about personal choices like clothing.
