They’re about to start a dual vocational training program in Germany, which is all about helping them gain awesome tech skills and real-world experience. This cool initiative comes from a partnership between the Delhi Government, the Goethe Institute, and some top German companies.
So, what’s the deal? The ‘APAL’ project is reaching out to students from Delhi, Latin America, and Uzbekistan, setting up an incredible 3.5-year training program in Germany that connects students with major industries. AAP leader Manish Sisodia showed his pride during an orientation at Sarvodaya Kanya Vidyalaya, saying this proves German industries are excited to welcome Delhi’s talented youth.
But it’s not just about skills; it’s all about opening doors for a brighter future. Sisodia pointed out that this training is a big step forward for government school students, boosting the quality of education and their global prospects.
For the first batch, they’re planning to take around 30 to 40 students who will get to jump into this amazing chance. This partnership kicked off with a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) two years ago, and part of that plan included bringing in German language classes to the ‘Schools of Specialised Excellence’. Right now, about 4,500 students are learning German in 30 government schools across Delhi. It’s a super exciting time for these students as they gear up to showcase their skills on a global level.
